Warm & Cool Spaces

Warm and Cool Spaces are safe, friendly places where you can go for free if you need help staying warm in winter or cool in summer.

What are Warm & Cool Spaces?

Warm & Cool Spaces are safe and friendly places that are free to use for anyone struggling to heat their home in the winter or keep cool during the summer.

There are a network of Warm & Cool Spaces across the borough open all year around.

These include libraries, leisure centres, community centres and community hubs.

Two older adults, a woman and a man, sit close together at a table, smiling happily at the camera. The man’s arm is around the woman’s shoulders. The setting appears to be a community or social event.

Some venues also have free refreshments, activities, and other services such as free Wi-Fi.

Please find a list of Havering's Warm & Cool Spaces below or on our events calendar. Please check with each venue to make sure they are open.
